A calm and comforting midweek session designed to support children through gentle sensory experiences and the power of music. Music & Sensory provides a relaxed, nurturing environment where children of all ages can unwind, regulate, and explore at their own pace.
Held every Wednesday during term time from 5:30-7:oopm at Solihull Fire Station, this session is particularly popular with younger children, offering a soothing space that appeals to both children and their families.
Through a blend of music, lights, textures, and movement, children are encouraged to engage their senses in a way that feels safe and enjoyable. Activities are carefully designed to support sensory processing and emotional regulation, helping children feel calm, balanced, and comfortable.
Our supportive team creates an atmosphere where there is no pressure or expectation, just the freedom to explore, relax, and respond to the environment in a way that suits each individual child. Whether it is gentle movement to music, interacting with sensory materials, or simply enjoying the calming surroundings, every child is welcomed and valued.
Music & Sensory is a peaceful pause in the week, offering children a space to reset, recharge, and feel at ease.
This session is subsidised by SMBC as part of our Targeted Community Short Breaks for children and young people with disabilities contract. To obtain further information regarding costs and service eligibility, please click here.
