We rely hugely on donations from individuals to fund lots of fun activities which are so vital to people with a learning disability.
Every donation of every size, whether one-off or regular, is hugely appreciated and goes directly to help our members.
To make a donation, please:
- Pay via JustGiving, who will claim Gift Aid on our behalf: www.justgiving.com/solihullsolo/donate
- Make a direct bank transfer to our account: Lloyds Bank Solihull, Account: SoLO Life Opportunities. Sort code: 30 97 78 Account number 39141568 . If you are a UK taxpayer, please also fill in the GiftAid form here.
- Send a cheque, payable to SoLO Life Opportunities, to our Fundraising Co-ordinator, Maria Brown, at SoLO, 38 Walnut Close, Birmingham B37 7PU.
Become a Friend of SoLO: from just £5 per month.
A regular monthly donation is one of the best ways to support the organisation as it helps us to plan ahead with an assured income, giving our members greater security, knowing that the activities they love will continue to be there for them. For example:
Just £5 per month supports someone like Lisa and George to enjoy our Funky Fridays disco, every week.
Just £8 per month supports someone like Simon to meet friends and other local people at our Drop-In, every week.
Just £12 a month supports children Jade and Jordan to come to our brilliant Saturday Super Friends club, every fortnight.
To become a Friend, please complete the form lower down this page.
Gifts in Wills
With a gift to SoLO in your will, you have the power to change the life chances of many people living with learning disabilities. It is tax efficient and, by giving your gift as cash, a percentage, a residuary amount (what’s left after family legacies, for example), or possessions, such as property and jewellery. To find out more, please contact our Fundraising Co-ordinator, Maria Brown, on 0121 779 3865 or email email@example.com.
