1:1 Support Worker – 40 hours per week (RefSWDS1)
The role involves supporting a young gentleman to safely participate in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in-house sessions to a day trip, and have an emphasis on developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills and inclusion. The role is “hands-on” direct support so the candidates must be caring, kind, and good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.
Driver preferred.
- Day – Monday- Friday
- Time – 9.00am – 4.45pm
- Location – South Solihull
- Pay – £12.21 Over 21, £10.50 Under 21
