Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 12 hours per week (Ref SWPAC1)

H is a 10-year-old boy who lives in Solihull B90. He has Global developmental delay and Autism and he and his family need support for 12 hours per week on Wednesday and Thursday before school 7.15am -9.15am and after school 3.15pm-5.15 pm

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 5 hours per week (Ref SWPAC2)

A is a 5-year-old boy who needs support for 5 hours at weekends so that his Mum can get the weekly shopping done and spend time with his siblings. A likes to spend time in the local park running around, playing games, and going Swimming at Tudor Grange pool.

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 6 hours per week (Ref SWPAC3)

P is a 9-year-old girl who lives in Chelmsley Wood. She has Downs Syndrome and would like a female who can support her at home and when going out to local activities for 6 hours on a Saturday.

  • Day –Saturday
  • Time – Flexible
  • Location – Chelmsley Wood area
  • Pay – £9.70/hr or £6.83/hr (Under 21)

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 3.5 hours per week (Ref SWPAC4)

G is a 17-year-old girl living in Shirley and has Downs syndrome. G would like a female to support her in the community for 3.5 hrs every Saturday to take her out to social activities in Solihull so she can safely make friends and have fun.

Driver preferred but not essential.

  • Day –Monday or the weekend

K is a 6-year-old boy who lives in Shirley. He has Autism and is nonverbal and would like support in the community for 2 hours per week to access activities, such as the park or trampoline parks.

Support Worker at Daylight North – 18 hours per week (RefSWDN1)

The role involves supporting people as a group or on their own to safely participate in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in-house sensory and relaxation sessions, to a day trip to the seaside, and have an emphasis on developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills and inclusion. The role is “hands on” direct support so the candidates must be caring, kind, and good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.

  • Day – Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
  • Time – 10am-4pm
  • Location – Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre Base
  • Pay – £9.70/hr or £6.83/hr (Under 21)
  • Service Area – Adults
  • Setting – Supporting 1:1 in a group setting
