Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 12 hours per week

HH is a 10-year-old boy who lives in Solihull B90. He has Global developmental delay and Autism and he and his family need support for 12 hours per week on Wednesday and Thursday before school 7.15am -9.15am and after school 3.15pm-5.15 pm

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 5 hours per week

AH is a 5-year-old boy who lives in Hampton in Arden and needs support for 5 hours at weekends so that his Mum can get the weekly shopping done and spend time with AH’s siblings. AH likes to spend time in the local park running around, playing games, and going Swimming at Tudor Grange pool.

Day –Weekend

Time – Flexible

PU is a 9-year-old girl who lives in Chelmsley Wood. She has Downs Syndrome and would like a female who can support her at home and when going out to local activities for 6 hours on a Saturday.

GT is a 17-year-old girl living in Shirley and has Downs syndrome. GT would like a female to support her in the community for 3.5 hrs every Saturday to l take her out to social activities in Solihull so she can safely make friends and have fun.

Driver preferred but not essential.

Day –Monday or the weekend

Time – Flexible

OMC is a 14-year-old who lives in Marson Green. He would like someone to help support him for 4 hours on Saturdays to take him out to various leisure and sports activities in the local area.

Setting – Supporting one to one in the community

Support Worker – Daylight North

Support Worker at Daylight North – 18 hours per week

The role involves supporting people as a group or on their own to safely participate in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in-house sensory and relaxation sessions, to a day trip to the seaside, and have an emphasis on developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills and inclusion. The role is “hands on” direct support so the candidates must be caring, kind, and good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.

Day – Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday

Time – 10am-4pm

Location – Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre Base

Pay – £9.70/hr

The role involves providing 1:1 support to adults with profound and multiple disabilities to enable them to be as independent as possible. This would be suitable for someone who has a caring nature, a very good sense of humour creating a stimulating and encouraging environment for the people who use our services. Many of the people we support are nonverbal and rely on support staff to get to know them and find other ways of communicating. There will be some requirements to assist in personal care, so we are looking for staff who have experience in this, or prepared to learn and get stuck in. Many of our members are wheelchair users which keeps our staff fit and strong.

Day –Thursday and Friday

Time – 9am-5pm

Location – Walnut Close, Chelmsley Wood

Pay – £9.70/hr
