Support Worker – Children’s Holiday Service (RefSWHS1)

The role involves supporting people as a group or on their own to safely participate in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in-house sensory and relaxation sessions, to a day trip to the seaside, and have an emphasis on developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills and inclusion. The role is “hands-on” direct support so the candidates must be caring, kind, and good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.

  • Day – Week Days During School Holidays
  • Time – 9.30am- 4.00pm

  • Pay – £12.21 Over 21, £10.50 Under 21

Support Worker – Adult Services

Support Worker –  38.75 hours per week (RefSWSW)

The role involves supporting a gentleman on a 2:1 basis who requires support to participate in a group setting in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in-house sessions to a day trip. They emphasise developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills, and inclusion. The role is “hands-on” direct support, so the candidates must be caring, kind, and good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.

Driver with Business Insurance required to transport to and from the day provision in South Solihull.

  • Day – Monday – Friday
  • Time – 9.00 am-4.45pm
  • Location – Billesley/South Solihull
  • Pay –£13.00 Over 21, £10.42 Under 21
  • Service Area – Adults

Setting – Supporting 1:1 in a group setting
