Support Worker – Personal Assistant (Adult)

We are recruiting Support Workers for our Personal Assistant Service to provide tailored 1-1 support.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide person-centred, safe support tailored to SP’s individual needs
  • Follow support plans and risk assessments; report any concerns
  • Communicate effectively with SP, family, and line manager
  • Support emotional wellbeing, daily routines, independence, and community engagement
  • Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality and safeguarding at all times
  • Attend required training and meetings

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 4 hours per week (Ref SWPAA2) 

Supporting a 40-year-old male who has Down syndrome, and is looking for a PA to support him within the community. R  likes going for walks in the park, going bowling, going to the cinema, playing table tennis, going to theme parks, and accessing outdoor activities.

Driver Required.

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 12 hours per week (Ref SWPAA3) 

Supporting a 33-year-old male with Autism to access activities in the local community, the role is 12 hours per week split across 2 days.

  • Day – Wednesday and Friday
  • Time – Flexible
  • Location – South Solihull
  • Pay – £13.00/hr
  • Service Area – Personal Assistant
  • Setting – Supporting one-to-one in the community

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 5 hours per week (Ref SWPAA6) 

Supporting a 33-year-old female with Prader-Willi syndrome to access the community.

  • Day – Wednesday or Thursday
  • Time – Timings Flexible
  • Location – North Solihull
  • Pay – £13.00/hr
  • Service Area – Personal Assistant
  • Setting – Supporting one-to-one in the community

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 6 hours per week (Ref SWPAA7) 

Supporting a 27-year-old female with Learning Disabilities and Cornelia de Lange syndrome to access the community.

  • Day and Time– Thursdays: 15:45pm – 18:45pm
                                 Sunday mornings: 3hrs (Timings can be flexible)

  • Pay – £13.00/hr

  • Setting – Supporting one-to-one in the community

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 25 hours per week (Ref SWPAA8) 

1-1 support for SP, a 29-year-old male with Cerebral Palsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, Dyslexia, Clinical Anxiety & Depression. SP is wheelchair user and support is required to promote independence, wellbeing and meaningful community participation.

SP is looking for a PA who is laid-back, calm, and a good personality match—someone who will take the time to get to know him, understand what is important to him, and fit well within his family dynamic.  Some of the activities SP enjoys is going to the cinema, bowling, looking around the shops and trips to the park.

  • Day and Time– Typically 5 hrs a day, Monday–Friday but hours may be adapted flexibly depending on SP’s needs
  • Location – Southeast Birmingham
  • Pay – £13.00/hr
