Saturday Super Friends

A vibrant, welcoming space where friendships flourish, confidence grows, and every session is filled with fun. Saturday Super Friends is open to all ages and designed to give children with learning disabilities a safe, supportive environment where they can truly be themselves.
Running from 10:00am-12:00pm at Solihull Fire Station, this much-loved group brings children together every other Saturday for a morning of connection, creativity, and laughter. Each session is thoughtfully shaped around what is happening in the world around us, from seasonal changes and public holidays to cultural and religious celebrations, helping children explore new ideas in an engaging and inclusive way.
Children can enjoy a wide range of activities including games, arts and crafts, music, and imaginative play. With access to a fully equipped kitchen for baking, a variety of toys and board games, and regular opportunities for creative expression, there is always something to spark interest and joy. Throughout the year, we also organise three exciting trips, giving children the chance to explore beyond the group and build shared experiences.
At Saturday Super Friends, we work closely with each child to create a relaxed and nurturing atmosphere, supporting them to build confidence, develop social skills, and form meaningful friendships that last.
