A relaxed and welcoming space to end the week on a high. Friday Club North is the perfect opportunity for children of all ages to unwind, have fun, and enjoy time with friends in a safe and supportive environment.
Taking place every Friday during term time from 5-7pm at our SoLO house in Walnut Close, this session is all about choice, comfort, and connection. Children are free to shape their own experience, whether they prefer energetic play or a more calm and relaxed atmosphere.
Friday Club North is designed as a play-led session where children can explore their interests and make their own independent choices, all with the guidance and support of our experienced team. The setting includes an enclosed outdoor space for active play, as well as a sensory room for those who benefit from a quieter, more calming environment.
With a strong focus on encouraging friendships and social interaction, the club creates opportunities for children to connect, build confidence, and simply enjoy being part of a community. Whether it is laughter-filled games or peaceful moments of sensory play, every child is supported to engage in a way that feels right for them.
This session is subsidised by SMBC as part of our Targeted Community Short Breaks for children and young people with disabilities contract. To obtain further information regarding costs and service eligibility, please click here.
