Service Lead – Supported Living

We are seeking a dedicated, organised, and compassionate Service Leader to oversee our Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced care professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred support and empowering individuals to live independent and fulfilling lives.

This is a full-time post to lead on two of our Supported Living services, primarily working during office hours. However, flexibility is essential, as the role will require evening work, sleep-ins, and weekend support in line with the needs of the service.

The role involves leading and supporting a team of staff to ensure the safe, effective, and smooth day-to-day running of the service. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, ensuring compliance with safeguarding and regulatory requirements, and supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals and outcomes.

This position would suit someone who is confident in leadership, able to manage staff performance and rotas, and comfortable working collaboratively with families, carers, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organisational skills, a proactive attitude, and a genuine commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable adults.

Experience within supported living, residential care, or a similar setting is essential. Knowledge of person-centred support, positive behaviour support, safeguarding, and CQC standards is highly desirable. Applicants should also be confident using IT systems and maintaining accurate records and documentation.

We are looking for someone who can motivate and develop others, lead by example, and create a positive and supportive environment for both the people we support and the wider staff team.

Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary: £29,224 per annum
Setting: Supported Living Services
