Support Worker – Personal Assistant (Adult)

We are recruiting Support Workers for our Personal Assistant Service to support adults.

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 6 hours per week (Ref SWPAA1)

J is a 28-year-old man who lives with his parents in Solihull. He has Learning Disabilities and Prada Willi syndrome and is looking for support 6 hours per week and would like to use these on a Monday or at the weekend.

J is a big fan of superheroes and Lego so would like someone who can incorporate this into the activities. He enjoys going to shopping centres for a look around, going to the cinema, playing mini golf, eating out and going to the pub.

Driver preferred.

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 8 hours per week (Ref SWPAA2)

A is a 30-year-old man with autism who lives in Solihull, B91. He is looking for support going out into the community for a total of 8 hours per week, 4 hours on Monday and 4 hours on Saturday. He would like someone who will get to know him and understand how his autism affects his daily life. A is very chatty and while he can be a bit loud at times, he is kind-hearted and gentle.

He would like someone to take him to Solihull shopping centre to look around the shops, eat out, go for walks and visit museums. He is very amenable and would like support to think of and try out new activities.

Driver preferred but not essential.

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 8 hours per week (Ref SWPAA3)

D is a 28-year-old man living in Marston Green and has severe learning disabilities, mobility difficulties and limited verbal communication. D needs someone to support him by picking him up from home and taking him to Evolve and then be dropped home after. D needs support taking part in activities and needs some support with personal care.

D likes going for walks, meals out, listening to music, watching youtube videos and spending time at the day service. D would like someone who is patient and kind, and who can get to know him and help him communicate what I need and want.

Driver preferred but not essential.

  • Day –Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Time – 8.45am-4.45pm
  • Location – Marston Green area
  • Pay – £9.70/hr or £6.83/hr (Under 21)
  • Service Area – Personal Assistant
  • Setting – Supporting one to one in the community and in a group setting

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 20 hours per week (Ref SWPAA4)

M is a 17-year-old man who lives in Hall Green and has cerebal palsy and limited verbal communication. M needs support in the home and likes activities in the community such as swimming and going to the park.

  • Day –Monday – Friday
  • Time – 3.30pm-7.30pm
  • Location – Hall Green area
  • Pay – £9.70/hr or £6.83/hr (Under 21)
  • Service Area – Personal Assistant
  • Setting – Supporting one to one in the community and in a group setting

Support Worker – Personal Assistant – 20 hours per week (Ref SWPAA5)

M is a 17-year-old man who lives in Hall Green and has cerebal palsy and limited verbal communication. M needs support in the home and likes activities in the community such as swimming and going to the park.

  • Day –Saturday and Sunday
  • Time – 9am-7pm
  • Location – Hall Green area
  • Pay – £9.70/hr or £6.83/hr (Under 21)

  • Setting – Supporting one to one in the community and in a group setting
