Support Worker – Daylight South

Support Worker at Daylight South – 16 hours per week

The role involves supporting people in a group or on their own to safely participate in activities both in-house and out in the community. Activities are chosen by the members and can range from in house sensory and relaxation sessions, to a day trip to the seaside. Emphasising on developing independence, wellbeing, social communication skills and inclusion. The role is “hands on” direct support so the candidates must be caring, kind, good at communicating with people who may find it difficult to communicate and understand. A great sense of humour is a must, as well as being able to take responsibility and maintain the safety and quality of life for the vulnerable people they are supporting.

Day – Wednesday and Thursday

Time – 9am-5pm

Location – Solihull Fire Station

Pay – £9.70/hr

£6.83/hr Under 21

Service Area – Adults

Setting – Supporting one-to-one in a group setting
